Multi-Axis Lasers
Mitsubishi offers two multi-axis lasers. The VZ series is a bulletproof CO2 Model ideal for short run environments with its easy fixture and table access. The FV is a robust 5-axis fiber that has the flexibility to handle flat plate or 3D and oversized fixtures.
The FV 5-axis fiber laser uses an innovative double-rail gantry motion system for high-speed cutting with exacting tolerances. 4.0G-H axis acceleration enables ultra rapid height sensing. The FVs open access fixture table can also be partially removed to accommodate large pieces, making the FV a more capable 3D fiber.
Benefits:
- Open architecture fixture table makes for easy access to cut parts and loading/unloading of material. 3D lasers spend more time on in set up than cutting, so the FV’s accessible design is a major asset.
- Heavy-duty table design can accommodate 3D fixtures as well as flat plate.
- Split-table design enables removing half of table for large custom fixtures.
- Segmented down draft dust collection.
- Roof access via two sliding panels for installing oversized fixtures
- Magnetic crash protection
- Mitsubishi single source fiber oscillator

VZ20 3D Laser

A short run 3D laser with easy table access for setting up fixtures, programming, and load/unload.
Benefits:
- Easy Operator Access. No doors to open and close, 26” table height for easy part loading. Better access for setting fixtures. Access to table while machine is in operation.
- Mitsubishi cross-flow CO2 resonator. Never requires a resonator refurb.
- Better machine for thicker materials. Newer 5-axis fibers excel at cutting thin stampings, while a trusty CO2 is still a solid machine for cutting thicker formed materials.
