GX-F Series Fiber

The new GX-F Advanced Plus is the latest addition to the tried and true GX-F line. The GX-F series delivers Mitsubishi’s legendary reliability with the reduced setup time and lower operating costs of a fiber. The new Plus model packs updated features on top of the popular innovations seen in the GX-F Advanced.

• Automatic Nozzle Centering – First model with this feature. Mits never wanted it because such systems typically reside in the head and are prone to damage after a crash. Mits engineers in Japan developed an improved system located on the machine, not the head. Fabtech visitors were impressed. The system can be automatically triggered after a head crash, nozzle change, shift change, you name it.
• Improved Height Sensing – With automatic crash avoidance from ¼” to 1”. Mitsubishi calls it “Direct Sense”.
• Improved AR Feature – Now easier than ever to nest parts on drop from the control. Regain the access and short run ease of the CO2’s open tables.
• Keeps the GX-F’s top features – AGR, improved AI Assist, Nozzle monitor.

The GX-F Advanced uses excellent process monitoring and assist gas reduction technology to cut better parts with reduced operating costs. AGR and AI features deliver a better edge in challenging materials and more confidence running unattended. • AGR – The Advanced and Plus models are plumbed for an air shroud via an optional low pressure compressor. AGR reduces N2 consumption by 1/3rd on carbon, over half on thick stainless. Other popular AGR cutting tools as well.
