After 20 plus years in the same location Mitsubishi has moved to a new home in NW suburban Chicago. It’s about 10 minutes north of the old place right on Interstate 90 housing an expanded showroom, service center, R&D, and parts warehouse. Mitsubishi held a sneak preview in June, but the red carpet is being rolled out for the September 14th event. Here’s a link to an event brochure.
Equipment
Tanaka Fiber Laser – 1.5″ capacity (2″ edge start), 12 ft. cutting width to any length. While some fibers are spec’d to 1″ they usually have a lighter orientation. Not the 10kw Tanaka.
Mitsubishi Fiber Lasers – including the new 10’ x 20’ shuttle table XL-F (now available to 24’ without a repo) and the new SR-F entry level fiber series.
Cross Flow CO2 Lasers – if your emphasis is on edge quality a CO2 may still be your best choice, and Mitsubishi’s latest generation of no-refurb CO2’s are the best out there.
Press Brakes – Dener hydraulic and Murata Diamond electric and hybrid brakes.
Laser Automation – Mitsubishi’s MSC-V can keep pace with the fastest fibers, even in a multi-laser line. Now available with nest conveyors in addition to carts.
